Incredible product at a very reasonable price. Doesn't flex as much as you'd think, but the flex you get really does make a difference compared to having a rigid plate. Even though it can flex in multiple directions, it flexes mostly in one direction at a time, which means it wont contour as well as some really good multi curve plates, but doesn't create as strong hot spots especially under a lot of weight as rigid plates do. Laying down on it really doesn't feel like wearing a rifle rated plate, more so like having a stiff but flexible rubber pad in your armor.

I wouldn't call flexible plates better or worse than good multi curved hard plates, I think it's just a different fit and depends on the person which one they like better. For me, the flex plate is the winner since I wear it in an overt armor carrier. Having options for ICW is amazing as wearing frag protection is a must anyway. For the slickest "next to body" contouring you'd probably want to go with hard plates unless your body type doesn't follow the preset curves which is another strong plus for the flex plates.

They seem to have true edge to edge coverage, no foam ring around the edges which is a very good sign. Weight and thickness is up there with plates many times more expensive than these.

They are very sturdy. I've seen people on reddit claim flex plates sag inside plate carriers but they definitely do not. Those people are lying. Flexible plates are much stiffer than they think, which is both a good and a bad thing depending on what you're trying to get out of it.

I was looking for more performance driven hard plates for work related use (police) and I was amazed at quality and specs wise when handling these plates. Flexible, comfortable, high level of protection against not so common but very dangerous threats at a low weight package. Would definitely recommed them, and I'm rocking them everyday now on my duty plate carrier. (Paired them with a trauma pad, just to be extra sure of maximum possible blunt trauma reduction)

The soft side, although limited in amplitude, is practical because I wear my plate carrier on top of a soft class IIIA vest with discreet wear and the heavy plates come to fit the shape of the torso. This allows you to have a vest that is very fitted to the body and therefore comfortable, the weight is forgotten in case of prolonged wear.
