Yes. Certain products (such as Level III rifle-rated plates) are regulated by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Export or re-export of such items requires written approval from the U.S. government. Violations may result in civil or criminal penalties.

PGL complies fully with U.S. export control laws and will not assist in any illegal export or re-export. Customers are responsible for all applicable import/export documentation, duties, and taxes.

No armor is 100% bulletproof. Specialized armor-piercing or high-velocity rounds may penetrate armor.

Soft body armor will not stop rifle ammunition.

Always verify the NIJ level and panel insert specifications to understand your armor’s protection capability.

No. Once a ballistic plate or soft panel has been hit, it must be replaced. Even minor damage can compromise protection.

Depending on the protection level, our armor uses UHMWPE, aramid fibers, and ceramic composites engineered for maximum performance and weight balance.
